Mon., Wed., Fri. 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Tues., Thur. 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sat. 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; summer hours: Sun. noon-2 p.m. (Labor Day-Memorial Day).
Usage:
Free for all Peterborough residents and property owners, students of Conval district; child's card issued when applicant can write own name; $68 annual fee for out-of-town residents who do not qualify above.
Collection:
Approximately 43,000 books, 150 titles of periodicals, 700-plus audiocassettes, 500-plus videocassettes, 150 CDs, 100 pieces of framed art; strength in local history and genealogy, also scrapbooks on MacDowell Colony.
Miscellaneous:
Annual book sale on Columbus Day weekend; many children's reading programs; delivery services to home-bound persons.
